Known as the daughter of the Zambezi Queen, but in no way less charming, the Chobe Princess combines the look of glamour with the feel of an authentic African river safari into three perfectly crafted houseboats.
With each houseboat consisting of only 4 to 5 cabins, the communal areas become an intimate oasis that makes you feel like you’re on your very own floating villa. The upstairs deck is an entertainment paradise as you have the choice to grab a drink from the bar and either settle onto a lounger or take a dip in the plunge pool while you soak up the panoramic landscape of the alluring African surrounds. As night falls and the celebrated African sun has set, make your way to the dining area to enjoy a 3-course meal while you listen to the calls of animals and discuss the wildlife scenes of the day.
If the relaxing escape on the Chobe Princess is not enough thrill for you, we offer a range of activities that cater to each individuals interest. Indulge in a buffet breakfast before setting out on a tender boat to enjoy a variety of activities whether it’s spotting game along the river banks, bird watching, an exciting Tiger fishing excursion or photographic safari, the options aim to please as you get a taste of what a true African experience entails.
One of our recent guests from New Zealand had such a great experience with us that he crafted it into a poem:
From a small boat, we alighted
To board a Zambezi Queen Daughter
On the Mighty Chobe and Zambezi water.
Ernest “Hemingway” and Vasco “da Gama”
Navigated us without drama
Assisted by Gift “present” and Allan “key”
We were safe and free.Family fun and copious laughter
Games and cards now, sleep after
Thanks to “Mr” Lister we indulged
Due to his culinary skills, we bulged.
Some beat the heat
To travel to where 4 countries meet
Others with hats and sunblock
Choose fishing amongst the croc.
The Chobe Princess is floating luxury
Around every meander another mystery
The African skies in us fiercely burn
To this paradise we hope to return.”
